Having been a solo traveller for many years I decided when I started Big Yellow Suitcase that there would be no single supplements. There would also be no single rooms or twin share with strangers – every guest will enjoy a full size queen or king size room and bed. Everyone will have a window seat on an air-conditioned coach for journeys and transfers longer than an hour.
Our small group tours would be designed for people who wouldn’t normally join a tour but are now at a stage where they would like some company for some of the time. It’s good on occasion to just let someone else take care of the details, find the best local restaurants and beat the crowds with priority access to popular spots and invitations to private homes, palaces and villas.
