We were staying at the Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe with our tour. Its less than 5 minutes walk from the Hotel. Beautiful and stunning and apart from us – 3 Sisters from Australia no other Tourists. Just local Parisians.

We also found the The Musee Carnavalet in the Marais district Paris. All exhibit information is in French and again we were the only English speaking to visit that day.

They are easily grown in Australia in a backyard or balcony garden although not so easy to find in general supermarkets in their fresh variety. When dried, as you might be aware, they are called Anchos and can be found in food stores specializing in international foods and spices. A more readily available option is to substitute the poblano peppers with mild jalapeno or green bell peppers. My all time favourite Mexican dish.

I’m delighted to see appreciation for traditional cuisine from my hometown Puebla! Where can you find poblano peppers in Australia?
